Affordable Encaustic Paintings(Melted Wax)
This gallery contains some postcard size (6in x4in) encaustic paintings, each one is totaly unique, and is an affordable way of collecting this unique art form.

The pictures are all created using an electric iron and high quality coloured beeswax.
The colours and form are even more vibrant in 'real life' than can ever be seen on the screen.
Strange things appear in the wax--faces, animals and other weird things!
These paintings come without mounts and frames-giving you the choice of how the finished piece looks.
Personaly I like to frame a group of say 4 or 6 together in matching frames-its a great contemporary look.Please get in touch if you want a particular colour doing for you and I will do my best to create something to your taste. Please bear in mind that due to the unpredictable nature of the medium , its immpossible to create EXACTLY a copy of another painting.
