Longest Summer Day is so called because of the title.
I try and ring the changes as much as possible in this popular series.
When I found this unusual sized canvas I knew straight away it would lend itself beautifuly to one of my birch tree paintings!
The series is based on the beautiful woodlands that surrond my home time of Ludlow in Shropshire.
