Poppy
This is one of my latest commissions. Painted in acrylic paint onto high quality deep edge box canvas,with the centre of the poppy created using melted black and gold encaustic wax. Its a copy of my painting "Poppy Delight " but in shades of oranges, through to creams. Its hard to photograph the detail of the melted wax-its very tactile and everyone wants to touch it!
