The very latest in my popular series of Birch Tree paintings--I have used a lovely warm chocolate brown, rusty reddish brown and cream to create the background-and then used silver and brown to add on the birches.This colour combination works well--I will be shortly be working on another in this series-using a gold paint for the birches-again on a brown/cream background. The photos do not do this painting justice-the light catches the silver paint and gives the painting a great 3 D effect. Each canvas is 12in x 24in -deep edge-and all of the sides are painted. I have also given it 4 coats of varnish to enhance the colour and also protect it.
